This policy applies to the following properties operated by Fullstakrs LLC d/b/a Commonweal:

• crueltycheck.app — and the Cruelty Check iOS and Android applications
• waypointer.info — and the Waypointer iOS and Android applications
• benefitter.app — and the Benefitter iOS and Android applications

By using any of these properties, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

3. Information We Collect

Information you give us

• Contact form submissions — name and email address when you contact us through any of our properties.
• User-provided input — product barcodes or brand names in Cruelty Check; location or search terms in Waypointer; household information in Benefitter (processed locally or via anonymous API calls).

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited and features used, collected in aggregate. We do not use tracking pixels or cross-site advertising cookies.
• Device and log data — IP address, browser type, and device type, retained transiently for security and debugging.
• Cookies and local storage — essential only, to store your preferences (e.g., cookie consent). No advertising cookies are set.

What we do not collect

We use the information we collect only to:

• Operate and improve our apps and websites;
• Respond to messages sent through our contact form;
• Diagnose technical problems and maintain security;
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Service providers

Legal requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the safety of our users or the public.

Business transfers

If Fullstakrs LLC is involved in a merger or acquisition, data may transfer to the successor entity subject to the same protections described here.

6. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as needed to respond to your inquiry, and deleted within 90 days. Server log data is purged on a rolling 30-day basis. We do not maintain persistent user profiles.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal information we hold. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@commonweal.dev. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Our properties are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact privacy@commonweal.dev and we will delete it promptly.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption on all properties. No internet transmission is completely secure. In the event of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will revise the date above. Material changes will be announced on the relevant property. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
